Visual Media Part 2
Visual media most definitely works for my type of business. After doing some research I have found several successful business using visual media to expand their brand and increase exposure.
The Blind Barber NYC - They are using Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. They have about 50K followers on each site. Their last post was today and they do not usually receive many comments on their posts The proportion of followers to likes is about 1%. They post high quality pictures and videos instead of just typical phone pictures.
Barber of hells bottom - This barbershop is located in Washington D.C, they have Facebook and Instagram. They have about 12K followers and their last post was yesterday. They typically receive minimal comments and about 1% of their followers to engage their posts. They post high quality photos.
Adian Gill - This barbershop is located in New Orleans. They use Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. They have 355 followers. Their last post was June 15th so they are not very active on their social media sites. Since they only have a few followers they have a better proportion than the businesses with higher follower counts at around 15%. They do post high quality pictures so that is definitely a something that City Kutz could implement.
The Modern Man Barber shop - Located in Portland, Oregon. They only use Facebook and have about 3500 followers and their last post was on May 15th. They don't receive very much engagement from their posts receiving less than 1% of likes
